Lash Extensions are one of the hottest new trend.

This involves a refined process of individually attaching synthetic or natural lashes to your own lash bed with an adhesive that binds strong enough to last over a course of about 60-70 days. The lashes tend to fall out individually, and you return to the salon every few weeks to upkeep them. 

Lash extensions can easily run about $400 for the initial application and about $100 for the upkeep. A friend of mine recently spent $700 in 2 months (she chose a high end natural lash--not the synthetic). She also claimed it was "the best 2 months in her cosmetic life ever". It made me smile. She is a very simple woman, and rarely splurges on herself. So, hey. Why not?
